A coastal county council nature reserve comprising seashore, marsh, scrapes and meadows plus a visitor centre

Possible Short-eared Owl and Golden Plover, plus large flocks of wintering finches and buntings in this elevated area

Explore this large natural harbour by boat and also see waders close by from the Brownsea Island hides

A remote and undisturbed reserve with a wide range of coastal wintering species

Many habitats in a relatively small area, including heathland with Dartford Warbler sea-crossing

Migrants such as Hobby, plus heathland and woodland breeding species such as Dartford Warbler and Redstart

A steep-sided broad leafed wooded valley with a fast flowing stream usually produces Tree Pipit, Wood Warbler, Redstart, Dipper and Kingfisher with the possibility of Lesser Spotted Woodpecker.

Recent visits have produced Tree Pipit, Woodcock and Nightjar.  Perhaps this time we will be able to add Woodlark
