Here you'll find details of our activities, plus information and photos, and some new and interesting links on the "RSPB" page.
We
are delighted to announce that we have been awarded a sum of £2,347
by Awards for All.
This award has enabled us to purchase equipment that will allow us
to use more modern methods for presentations and audio equipment
that will enhance the talks at our base and at other venues. All
in all, we hope to be able to reach a wider population to inform
them of our Project 'Wildlife in Oxfordshire'

For
information on dealing with sick or injured birds please click
on the RSPB here or contact St
Tiggywinkles on 01844 292292.
When you've finished looking at the site, please send us an email, and tell us what you think of it! We've had a number of interesting contacts from birdwatchers around the globe: please keep the messages coming!
The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds was founded in 1889 and incorporated under Royal Charter in 1904. With over 1 million members it is the largest wildlife conservation charity in Europe. Its fundamental aim is to take action for wild birds and the environment in general.
The RSPB Oxford Local Group offers local members, students, and the general public, a forum where they can assist the RSPB in its aims, whilst developing their knowledge and interest in birds through talks, and organised bird watching trips. We also support the RSPB's work in Oxfordshire by providing volunteers and wardens for the RSPB Reserve on Otmoor. Whether you've lived in the area for ages, or are just visiting, we'd be delighted to welcome you and show you some of the birds in our area!
We
are pleased to be able to announce that John Wyatt, the well
known tour leader, has agreed to continue to be our Honorary President.
