INDOOR MEETINGS FOR 2007/2008

Meetings are now held in the Sandhills Primary School, Terrett Avenue, Headington, Oxford, OX3 8FN, 

opposite Thornhill Park & Ride at 7:45pm. 

The venue is clearly signed and there is ample car parking, just leave your car in the car park, exit the school area and walk to the right for about 100 yards to a driveway.  The entrance to the school is on the right at the top of the driveway

Entrance is free to members. Non-members welcome, entrance £3, Students £2 (with proof of status).

We run a local group membership scheme: Annual Fee £12, which gives free entry to indoor meetings.

An exploration of wildlife in John's home area.  He has visited us several times before, most recently to talk about Bulgaria

“Our Polish Christmas and Spring” Bob and Ann Scott.

Christmas with a Polish family in the extreme east of the country.  Bob and Ann are regular visitors to our group

“Whales, Dolphins and seabirds in Scotland and beyond” Ian Rowlands.

Ian is one of the leaders with Speyside Wildlife and this will be his first visit to the group

A new lecturer to our group, Ian is also involved with owl conservation

“Birds in Art” Jackie Garner.

How a naturalist interested in art becomes an artist interested in nature.  Jackie's last visit gave us a fascinating talk about the Falkland Islands
